Our training concept
Beginning in 2017 we have established a program of Keep Moving teacher training in Germany. This ambitious training system has been designed to ensure a high level of competence in all licensed Keep Moving teachers. Each course consists of customizable blocks of six-day training sessions, closely followed by a workshop for refreshing and polishing what you have learnt. Our yearly community meetings offer an opportunity for networking and sharing your experiences with other Keep Moving teachers.
Who may benefit from our teacher training?
This training program is best suited for physiotherapists, occupational therapists, fitness trainers, dance instructors or taiji teachers. After finishing your training you will be licensed to offer Keep Moving classes in hospitals or nursing homes, as part of your support group work, your physiotherapy repertoire or your taiji teaching program.
Why should I enroll?
Completing teacher training and obtaining a license are prerequisites for offering your own professional Keep Moving classes. Keep Moving is the first medically approved physical training program employing Taiji ( TaiChi ) techniques for therapeutic work with persons suffering from movement disorders or Parkinson’s disease. By maintaining close contact with all teachers and healthcare providers involved in our program and encouraging a constant exchange of ideas and experiences we are able to ensure a consistently high level of quality. In this way our training concept will never lose its attractiveness, and your qualification as a Keep moving teacher will continue to add distinction to your professional profile, thereby contributing to your success.
Each training session comprises six days, closely followed by a refresher workshop. After completing the training and obtaining a license you will be free to offer your own Keep Moving classes.
